When I took the photo of this small radiator, light pouring in from the window to the right, it didn't dawn on me at the time why this image appealed to me so.  I've often been asked why I'd paint a radiator.  Years later, after purchasing a book on Edward Hopper, an artist whose work I've always loved, it clicked in my brain.  Must've been channeling Hopper when I painted that!
